DL-Reader
-- Automates data entry
Name, Address, City, State, Zip; these
are some of the most common pieces of information required for most
applications and membership forms. Did you know that this information
is on your customer’s driver's license? So why type in this information
when you can, with one swipe of a card, have all of the information
automatically entered for you? Automate your data entry with DL Reader!
DL-Reader replaces
keyboard data entry by taking information straight from a Driver’s
License or Credit Card's magnetic stripe or barcode and automatically
inserting it into your form.
With DL Reader
automatically filling in the forms:
Ø There is less typing
Ø The data entry time is
improved
Ø Typographical errors are
reduced
Ø
Security is increased
Ø Repetitive wrist and hand
injuries can be reduced by automating the typing process.

How it Works
DL reader reads
most government issued Driver's Licenses and ID cards with magnetic
stripes and/or 2D barcodes When
a user swipes a driver’s license through the reader, DL Reader will
determine what form you currently have open and automatically fill in
the form with the desired information. DL Reader uses true API
calls to input your data, not cutting and pasting!
Each form can be
setup to receive different information from the driver’s license. For
instance; in a search form, you may only want the last name, but in an
application form, you may want the name, address, city, state, and zip.
