The IDSCam is designed for those locations where speed is mandatory and you're on a budget.  Schools, clubs, etc. Live video is displayed on the monitor allowing you to see the image before you capture it.  The PCI card allows it to operate in any Windows version desktop PC with an available PCI slot.  (An optional USB connection is also available.)
